At all? Whether it's the NFL, CFL (Canadian Football League), or NFL Europa, this topic is going to have the scores and standing for all three leagues.
NFL season runs from early September to early February. NFL Europa season runs from mid March to late May. CFL season runs from Early June to late November.
Right now we're in the middle of NFL season. So, I won't be posting scores or stats just yet. I'll post them when the regular season ends on December 31. Then, I'll post the playoff teams.
That's how we'll start. Then, we'll move on to NFL Europa. Then the CFL. Then the CFL and NFL together. And so on and so forth.
Just so we know. I am a Seattle Seahawks fan for the NFL and a Calgary Stampeders fan for the CFL. Don't be dissing me now!

I played earlier this school year on the JV team. I hated playing it, but playing it and watching it are two different things altogether.
OK, I'm sure that you know that if you can get the footballl into the oppsing team's endzone, you get 6 points for the touchdown. After you get the touchdown, you can kcik a field goal for an extra point to give you 7 points, or you can go for a two-point conversion, which would end up making it 8 points.
Once you get the ball (from a kickoff or punt), and you get down, that's a 1st down. Now, you have a certain number of downs, or attempts, to move the ball 10 yards further than it was on the first down. If you succeed, that's another first down. Once you get a 4th down (3 downs after the initial first down) you can either go for it, which is risky becauseif you fail to make it, the other team gets the ball where the final down was, or you can punt it to the other team. The final option is, if you are close enough to the endzone, is to kick a field goal. Field goals are worth 3 points.
Now there are many potential penalties in the game that I'm not going to go over because it's too much.
There football field is 100 yards between the endzones, but like 120-ish yards from the outer boundaries of the endzones.
There are two significant differences between the NFL/NFL Europa and the CFL. The differences are that in the CFL, the field is 110 yards between endzones, and that you either must go for it, punt it, or field goal on THIRD down, not FOURTH like the NFL. So, it's harder.
And that's it in a nutshell.

Just watch a game, and listen to the announcers. You should understand it a bit. The next game is on Saturday at 8 PM ET, on NFL network. Oakland vs. Kansas City

Nah. I prefer soccer, basketball, and baseball. Those rules are simpler, even though I find baseball boring. No, I will never understand American fooball.

I HATE soccer! I only watch the World Cup because it's the only good thing about soccer. I don't really like basketball anymore either. I like baseball. Go Giants!
